Westminster can be a tricky place for young women starting out in their careers... there is alcohol at many social and professional functions, and power and patronage haunts almost any interaction with a boss, colleague, or journalist ✒️ Cleo Watson

Many women I spoke to stressed the importance of exercising a #notallmen approach in these male-dominated environments. But how do you spot the problematic ones? My former government colleague advised a different approach: “Enjoy the difference. You will have perspectives that they don’t. Being in a minority can be a superpower – find your space.”
