The Connacht stars shined despite the tough loss.
Ireland 'A' may have lost out in a chaotic game played mostly on the defensive and in sheeting rain against England A at Bristol on Sunday.
Winger Shayne Bolton, centre Hugh Gavin, prop Jack Aungier, second-row Darragh Murray and Sean Jansen all posted notable stats, Bolton and Gavin accounted for the Ireland tries. He has impressed at this level previously, touring with Emerging Ireland in 2024; held his width to score Ireland's first try and was very, very unlucky that his covering across just failed to prevent England's second try.
Murray, 23, proved a powerhouse for a side working off the back foot that needed every ounce of power. Played all 80 minutes and standing six-foot-seven was excellent at the lineout while his tackle count of 13 was second only to Kendellan's 22 and Stephen Smyth's 15.
