Anne Marie Dollard, 45, from Cork, has shared her top tips for saving money on meals and grocery shopping, which have helped her to save thousands of euros
A clever mum from Cork, Anne Marie, has shared her top tips for cooking meals that cost as little as 0.85 per person.
Anne Marie also saves by buying her meat in bulk from online health food retailer MuscleFood.com. A Double Up Hamper can last her six weeks and help her save 125 on meat alone.She also loves to whip up dishes like salsa chicken pizza, which costs 98 cents a portion, and sweet and sour chicken for 1.50 a portion.
"One of the biggest costs in my household was food and it's the first place anyone should look to cut costs and spread cash further."
