Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has backed her new man Ricky Hatton as he prepares for a big night that's a far cry from those spent in the ring. The boxer will be getting suited and booted as he heads to the BAFTA Television Award 2024 on Sunday .
Released in August, the ninety-minute film offers extraordinary access to the boxing hero, exploring his life in and outside of the ring, with honest words from ‘The Hitman’ himself, his closest friends, family and peers. With the help of previously unseen footage, it charts his journey from the Hattersley estate near Manchester to headlining on the strip in Las Vegas.
Now, new girlfriend Claire has shown her support ahead of the big night. Sharing a poster used for the documentary on her Instagram Story, the soap star said: "Good luck tonight darling @bafta. So proud of you @rickhitmanhatton."
