Since 1994, he has starred in TV shows, such as Down to Earth, Born and Bred, Ed Stone is Dead, Casualty and The Bill. The actor is no stranger to the soap world after playing Ivan Jones in Emmerdale between 2005 and 2006, starring in 107 episodes. He is best known for playing Billy Mayhew in Coronation Street. He made his first appearance in December 2014 as the new vicar at Emily Bishop's parish, St. Mary's, who began dating the barman Sean Tully.
