Four Croatian football supporters were arrested and charged with offensive behavior on an aircraft after causing a disturbance at Dublin Airport, delaying a Ryanair flight. The incident occurred as the group was preparing to travel to London for the Dinamo Zagreb versus Arsenal FC Champions League match.

Four Croatian football fans were charged with offensive behavior on an aircraft after a disturbance at Dublin Airport delayed a Ryanair flight's departure. Marco Bajzec, 41, of Ballyboe, Glencar, Co. Donegal, and Zvonimir Prkacin, 40, Luis Buic, 38, and Tomislav Zajec, 39, of Confey, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, appeared before Dublin District Court. The group was scheduled to fly to London to attend the Dinamo Zagreb versus Arsenal FC Champions League match at the Emirates Stadium.

Instead, they were arrested at 9:15 am at stand 107L in Terminal 1 and charged under the Air Navigation and Transport Act. The four men were taken to both the airport and Ballymun Garda stations for processing. During questioning, Mr. Bajzec and Mr. Buic remained silent, while Mr. Prkacin expressed remorse for the inconvenience caused to passengers and staff due to the delay. Mr. Zajec denied any wrongdoing. None of the men addressed the court and have yet to enter pleas. Judge Treasa Kelly granted bail at €200 for each individual, noting that there was no Garda objection. Garda officers requested a bail condition prohibiting the men from passing through Dublin Airport unless sober, but the judge broadened it to encompass being of sober habits in public. Defence solicitor Eoghan O'Sullivan confirmed that his clients intended to travel to the London football match. He obtained an order for disclosure and anticipates resolving the case when it returns to court on February 5.
