Popular fruit and veg man Bruce had complained of shoulder pains after being taken ill on walk
A popular fruit and veg delivery man died on his way to hospital on Christmas Day after his family were warned there would be a 50-minute wait for an ambulance.
Jenny told YorkshireLive: "Bruce went out for a walk with Daniel and when he came back I said to him, 'You don't look too good.' I said to him I was calling 111 because he was talking about pain in his shoulder and along his left side. Bruce had been delivering produce since his childhood, heading out on rounds during weekends and school holidays with his dad Tom from the family farm. While Tom stuck to the egg trade, Bruce expanded the business to fruit and veg.
