Damien Duff reckons Robbie Keane is set to jump straight back into another management gig after his surprise decision to quit Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The Shelbourne boss said: “I texted Robbie yesterday to say congratulations, the fact he won the club’s first league title in four or five years. That was amazing.“I have supported him all season, I’ve got my FotMob app and I follow six or seven teams and they’re one of them. I’m really, really pleased for him and absolutely intrigued and interested to see where he ends up next.”Duff said: “‘Who knows? I think I heard the process being mentioned.
Duff’s work with Shelbourne continues to be exemplary - his team now top of the League for 95 days, just two-and-a-half years since he took over a newly promoted club. “We aimed to get Europe in the first year and you can argue we went mighty close, maybe not in the final but that would have got us to Europe.
