It was a good day for both men as Kerry and Galway picked up valuable wins.

David Clifford and Shane Walsh are no doubt chomping at the bit for Championship football as they had fun with the new footballing rules in round four of the Allianz Football League.

Kerry management came in for criticism in 2024 for Clifford's use with the two-time player of the year finding himself defending for large chunks of games in last year's championship while the 15-men behind the ball tactics didn't exactly suit his style of play. Scoring 3-03 against Tyrone, despite finding himself black-carded, Clifford again announced himself as the game's star forward.

Out west, it was Shane Walsh who continued his rich vein of form for Galway as he played a starring role in their win against Donegal in windy conditions.
