Lossiemouth has been declared to run in Tuesday's Mares' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival after sidestepping the Champion Hurdle.
Mullins had previously said it was a two-year-plan for Lossiemouth to win the Mares' Hurdle before taking on the geldings in the two-mile championship race. Lossiemouth started her season with an impressive victory in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse, beating Stayers' Hurdle favourite Teahupoo by over three lengths.
At the Dublin Racing Festival, Lossiemouth took on stablemate and reigning Champion Hurdler State Man, but things did not go to plan again as she took a crashing fall at the sixth hurdle.
