Met Eireann predicts a period of dry, bright and warm weather for Ireland, kicking off from Tuesday. The warm spell follows a weekend of showers and drizzle.

After some showers and drizzle over the course of the weekend, conditions will clear to make way for dry, bright and warm weather with temperatures reaching 17 degrees in parts of the country.

Sunday 30th March Tomorrow will be dry with spells of sunshine, though it will be cloudier in the southwest with isolated light showers. During the late afternoon and evening, cloud will build across the western half of the country. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees in light to moderate northwesterly winds. Becoming generally cloudy overnight with scattered patches of light rain and drizzle in the southwest, west and north. Elsewhere will stay dry.

Tuesday 1st April A dry and much brighter day with plenty of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees, feeling quite cool in the south and east due to moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.
