The incident occurred at the junction of Jervis St and Abbey St at approximately 10.30am.

THERE IS DISRUPTION to the Luas Red Line in Dublin this morning after a car collided with a tram on Jervis Street.

Luas services are currently suspended between Smithfield and the Point but are still running between Tallaght/Saggart and Smithfield, Luas has confirmed. Jervis St is currently closed and traffic from the quays is being diverted onto Strand St. Dublin Fire Brigade has said there were no serious injuries following the crash. Emergency services are currently at the scene.

Firefighter/Paramedics have responded to a collision involving a LUAS tram and a car on Jervis Street . There are no serious injuries.
