One day on since revealing they were the victim of a vicious homophobic attack, Ru Paul's Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne has shared a touching message from their mum with fans

Drag sensation The Vivienne has shared a touching message with fans on social media, just one day after revealing they had been subjected to a vicious homophobic attack while enjoying a night out in Liverpool.

"Then mum sent me this bless her. I haven’t experienced hate like that for years, never mind in the middle of the day. Done nothing but make me use my voice louder and clearer!" She then continued: “Upholding and raising the profile of the LGBTQ+ community he has made a huge difference to the lives of so many people who have gained confidence and self belief to come forward to identify as they choose and live a life where they are happy and fulfilled.”

Baga Chipz said: "Love you both", while TV host and singer Michelle Visage simply said: "Texting you".
