A driver was arrested for being two times over the drink drive limit when they were found asleep in a running vehicle on the M6 near the Bamber Bridge Interchange this morning.
The Mazda was sat on the hard shoulder with the offside indicator flashing, headlights on full beam, and engine running.
Lancashire Road Police said the driver was ‘snoring merrily away’ when officers approached the stationary vehicle near Junction 29.The driver of a Mazda was arrested after being caught asleep on the M6 with the lights on full beam and the engine running near Bamber Bridge.
