The inaugural Dublin City Half Marathon, taking place on March 30th, has sold out within a couple of hours of opening registration. The 13.1 mile event attracted massive demand, with 12,500 runners securing spots for the race which starts on O'Connell Street and finishes back in the city centre. Organisers anticipate potential expansion for next year based on the overwhelming response.
There was a massive demand for the inaugural 13.1 mile event that will take place on Sunday, March 30 on a course that will take runners from the start on O'Connell Street out to the northside of the capital before finishing back in the city centre.

Race director Jim Aughney reacted: "We knew there was a demand for another high-quality half marathon in Dublin, and today has shown that to be true as we sold out in a couple of hours.
