Crew attached to Dublin Fire Brigade were dispatched to two fires at vacant buildings in Dublin on Wednesday night
Locals in Dublin were urged to shut their windows on Wednesday night after smoke flames travelled across the M50 following two fires.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade warned that a strong wind was driving smoke across Rathfarnham as they battled the fire in Ballyboden, where the turntable ladder was deployed to act as a water tower fighting the fire from above. In a later update, a spokesperson said that crews were expected to be on the scene through the night as they received assistance from other agencies.
