The talented footballer wasn’t just playing Gaelic when she going through her Leaving Certificate years, she was also training on two separate teams and taking part in basketball

The Dublin footballer explained that while some people will need to take a step back from training during the important year, she found that it was a “huge outlet” for her.

She graduated thinking she wanted to become a social worker, but during her studies she found a passion for a different career path. Read more: Kerry star Niamh Carmody: Home life in Cork, travelling the world, interesting day job and age Sinead told RSVP Magazine how she would get up early to study for her exams before heading off to training.I know a lot of people now that might not play sports during their exams so that they can solely focus on that and studying. But I remember that I used to get up early before school to train and I would make a study plan after it. It was a huge outlet for me. I was training with the seniors and minors for Dublin LGFA and playing basketball at the time.
