Both sisters were determined to live a healthier lifestyle and look after themselves - together they have lost a total of four stone as they shared their secret
Two Dublin sisters have opened up on their weight loss journeys to become the healthiest versions of themselves. Siobhan Cassidy and Ita Linnane have both struggled with their weight over the years, and as they got older they both wanted to prioritise their health and wellbeing.
When she decided to embark on a weight loss journey some years ago, Siobhan decided to try out Motivation Weight Management Clinic, which centres around the concept of mental weight, which they say is key to beating unhealthy eating habits long term. “What works better even than the initial weight loss programme is their maintenance programme. I find it absolutely brilliant; I come every couple of weeks for a meeting. There’s no judgement, which I think is really important. It’s very positive and it really works if you stick with it. It’s very much a community here.
“When you’re on a strict diet, you feel like you can’t do anything. This isn’t like that, it’s just having a healthier lifestyle day-to-day.”
