Louth pushed Dublin all the way at GAA Headquarters in front of a small crowd, but the Boys in Blue won by four points in the end
Brian Fenton paid tribute to Louth after being named man of the match in Sunday's Leinster Senior Football Championship final at Croke Park.
The result saw Dublin with the Leinster Championship for a 14th consecutive time and it was their 63rd Leinster title win in total.When asked for his thoughts on the game by RTE, Fenton said: "Glad to get out of it I think. Glad to get out alive. Louth gave us our bellyful there today, credit to them, made things so hard for us but we absolutely expected that coming here today because they're a class team.
