Nora had struggled with her mental health before she decided to embark on her weight loss journey and now she has not only shed seven stone she has gained so much more in her life
A Dublin woman has opened up about the positive impact her impressive weight loss journey has had on not only her physical health, but her mental health too.
Two years ago she joined a Slimming World group in Tallaght and never looked back, having now dropped an amazing seven stone and transforming her lifestyle. "Once I got start with Slimming World, got into the group and the routine, it actually became really easy and really enjoyable. It wasn't a chore and it wasn't this scary thing to do, it was something really nice and social to do, nice to discover new recipes and get excited about food again in a new way."
"You're not missing out on socialising, you're not missing out on food that you like," Nora explained. "There's no restriction pretty much."
