Latest Manchester City injury news ahead of the Premier League game against Aston Villa
Manchester City will remain without Ederson and Kyle Walker for Aston Villa's visit to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
Ederson hasn't played since early March in the 1-1 draw at Anfield with Liverpool. He picked up a thigh injury after colliding with striker Darwin Nunez. Walker, meanwhile, was forced off with a leg muscle issue during England's friendly with Brazil. When asked about the potential availability on the trio, boss Pep Guardiola said: "I don’t think so. John maybe, the other two no chance. He has to feel fully fit. But the injury was less than we expected. We’ll see. For today or maybe for the next games he’ll be ready."
