EIGHT cars were TORCHED in just 50 minutes in the early hours of this morning.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it attended fires on Penneld Road at 4.22am, Craigmuir Road at 4.33am, Hollybush Road at 4.42am, Clavens Road at 4.45am and Tweedsmuir Road at 5.05am.
One fire engine was sent to each incident, and the blazes were extinguished before the firefighters left.A post on social media read:"Omg two cars were on fire in Clavens Road. Thank god the fire brigade got there before anything else was damaged or injured, what a drama to wake up to and it was frightening."spokesperson said: “Around 4.30am on Thursday, January 26, officers were called to a report of eight vehicles set on fire at separate addresses in the Penilee area.
