The former owner of Rossa Grill in Clonakilty, Giorgio Perrozzi, has passed away at the age of 74. Locals and former customers shared their favourite memories and paid tribute to the popular restaurateur, who was described as 'a pure gentleman'.
Emotional tributes have been paid to the former owner of a popular restaurant in West Cork who died earlier this week.
One Clonakilty local said: "Condolences to Giorgio's family and friends. Thanks for giving Clon the institution that is The Rossa Grill and for contributing immeasurably to the betterment of the town and its people. RIP." A Rossa Grill regular added: "Sincere sympathy to the Perrozzi family & extended family on the passing of George fond memories of him when he owned the rossa grill in clonakilty he loved his cars & his dogs he had the best chips & batter burgers in the 1990s he was a pure gentleman may he rest in peace."
