Enda met his wife in Leinster House, where Fionnuala worked as a press officer for Fianna Fáil endakenny
Enda Kenny was Taoiseach of Ireland from 2011 until 2017, when he announced that he would be stepping down.
He is the third child of five of Mary Eithne and Henry Kenny. He attended University College Galway and went on to become a national teacher. He worked as a primary school teacher for four years. He went on to stand as Fine Gael’s candidate at their subsequent by-election and became the youngest member of the 20th Dáil at 24.
New Job Enda landed a new role as an independent director at Envetec, a clean tech firm based in Ballina, Co. Tipperary, in May 2022.
