European Commissioners have arrived in Kyiv for a joint meeting with the Ukrainian government, ahead of an EU-Ukraine summit tomorrow
Sixteen commissioners, including Ireland's Mairead McGuinness, have arrived in the Ukrainian capital to hold joint discussions on financial and energy support, further sanctions against Russia and progress towards Ukraine becoming an EU member state.
Officials say today's meeting, ahead of a summit tomorrow, is designed to show the depth and breadth of EU support for Ukraine as Russia continues its onslaught. There will be a big focus on energy support as Russia continues to attack electricity infrastructure.
