Donegal singer Adgy is back in the running for Eurovision with a new song written by Ivan Klymenko, the producer behind Ukraine's winning 2022 entry. 'Run into the Night' will be revealed on 'The Ray D'Arcy Show' and marks Adgy's second attempt at representing Ireland.

Adgy , a Donegal singer aiming for Eurovision glory, has revealed his entry for the 2025 contest. 'Run into the Night', penned and produced by world-renowned music producer Ivan Klymenko , is Adgy 's second attempt at representing Ireland after narrowly missing out last year. Klymenko, known for his Eurovision successes, including writing the winning song 'Stefania' for Ukraine in 2022, brings his expertise to Adgy 's track.

Adgy, whose real name is Andrew Carr, will be competing against five other Irish singers in 'The Late Late Eurosong' special on February 7th. This televised event will determine the artist who will proudly carry the Irish flag at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, in May. Unveiled on today's 'The Ray D'Arcy Show' at 3 pm, 'Run into the Night' will be followed by a studio chat with Adgy. He joins Bobbi Arlo and Reylta as the third act confirmed for the Eurosong final, with the remaining three hopefuls to be revealed throughout the week. Adgy is determined to make this year a success, having spent the past year honing his craft and developing his music in London. Drawing inspiration from his Donegal heritage, he aims to showcase a 'fresh sound' after his previous entry, 'Too Good For Your Love', was unsuccessful in 2024. With an impressive career boasting 12 million streams, a Universal Music Group deal, and a publishing partnership with Spirit BMG, Adgy is a force to be reckoned with in the Irish music scene
