Ireland prodigy Evan Ferguson sealed a loan move to West Ham United from Brighton & Hove Albion on deadline day until the end of the season, and here's what's been said about the talented striker
Evan Ferguson – once hailed as Ireland's brightest soccer talent – has seen his promising career hit a few bumps in recent times.
Evan Ferguson admission After his loan switch was confirmed, Ferguson waxed lyrical about his new club, insisting that he has "a good feeling" that he'll be a success there. "It feels good to be here," he told West Ham TV. Potter himself said he was similarly excited about the reunion. "I'm delighted we've been able to bring Evan in on loan until the end of the season," he beamed. "He's a player we obviously know very well, so I'm grateful to the board for bringing him in.
"Playing week in, week out in the Premier League is going to take its toll. But when you turn up for big matches, international matches, when you're just playing in the Championship, it can be very, very difficult. it's been a great start for him though, I'm delighted for him. He seems like a nice kid."
