The RTE Sports presenter is hosting official coverage from the Paris 2024 Olympics - here we take a closer look at Evanne's life on and off our television screens

Evanne Ni Chuilinn is one of our most recognisable sports presenters thanks to her work across different sporting events on RTE .

Husband Brian and wedding day Evanne married husband Brian Fitzsimons in 2013, having first met on a night out on St. Patrick's Day in 2010. "Brian swept me off my feet doing magic tricks, making stuff disappear and pulling coins out of thin air. I was totally won over." "It’s disheartening every month when it doesn’t happen for you and people don’t really talk about it. Everyone has a journey with that stuff and this has been ours."

When Evanne met her birth mother Mary for the first time, she said she felt content but "less other". The documentary won her praise from viewers who thanked her for raising awareness about the current adoption system in Ireland.
