There are over 50 items on the final Cabinet agenda of this Dáil term, with RTÉ, the prospects of building homes on Cathal Brugha Barracks, disability supports and 'access to cash' all up for discussion

RTE will get a guaranteed €725million in public funding over the next three years in a bailout to help save the cash-strapped broadcaster. The bailout is below the amount asked for by RTE but still represents massive additional funds for the broadcaster, reports The Mirror.

An official plan is being put to a Cabinet meeting today to have the TV licence retained and “supplemented” with Exchequer funding. Minister Martin will ask a technical working group to develop proposals within the next three months on how the collection of the licence can be further improved. Cabinet will also approve the Autism Innovation Strategy which will "address gaps in existing services and supports for autistic people and to generate improved understanding and awareness of the challenges, needs and experiences of autistic people in the State".
