Andrew Trimble was not impressed by England’s dramatic victory against France in the 2025 Six Nations, claiming there's been little improvement since Eddie Jones' reign

Andrew Trimble was not too impressed by England’s dramatic last-minute victory against France in the 2025 Six Nations .

The initial stages of the clash with the French looked like it was going to be the same old story of the last few weeks for England. However, Borthwick's side dug in and began matching the French's intensity. While speaking to Virgin Media, Trimble said: “It's promising but I mean there's no really clear trajectory with England. They seem to be getting slightly better, slightly better: pick off a win against Ireland last year, pick off a win against France.

Trimble was also unimpressed by France’s performance against England, with the former Ireland player criticising the amount of opportunities they wasted to build upon their dominance during different stages of the game.
