Family of Clodagh Hawe meet Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan to ask for new and full inquiry into horror Cavan murder-suicide
The family of a woman murdered along with her three sons by her husband met with Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan today to ask for a new and full inquiry.
Minister Flanagan described his meeting with Clodagh's mum Mary Coll and sister Jacqueline Connolly as “moving” and “very constructive” today. Minister Flanagan said: “The meeting was very moving and also very constructive. Mary and Jacqueline outlined their concerns and the horrific ordeal they have endured through the loss of their beloved family members. They showed immense dignity and courage in speaking to me about their concerns.”
“The person appointed will be entirely free to recommend any course of action which she or he considers appropriate.
