The family has asked people to stop
Jacqueline Hawe has asked that the public stop donating money to a GoFundMe page in the name of her murdered sister Clodagh.
Clodagh Hawe was killed by her husband Alan Hawe in 2016, along with her children. Her family recently appeared on the Claire Byrne Live show to appeal for more information to be made available to them by Garda investigators. The message was issued through the official Claire Byrne Live Twitter page.
"In a Tweet this evening Jacqueline Connolly has said: “It has come to our attention that someone has set up a GoFundMe page in our name. Please ignore this as Mam and I would never in a million years accept money from anyone on the back of our grief.""A spokesperson for Go Fund Me has confirmed to RTÉ that the page has been suspended"to prevent any further distress for the family" and an inquiry is underway into who established the page.
