Gordon Ramsay's €14 breakfast roll has come under fire - not for its price, but for the fact it appears to lack a crucial component. The famed TV chef's creation, available at his swanky Mayfair restaurant, consists of a toasted brioche bun packed with Cumberland sausage, egg, and streaky bacon - something Gordon hailed as "the perfect way to start your day" in an Instagram video.
Shared by both Gordon and his eatery's account, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill, the roll sparked divided opinions with some slamming its lack of anything moist. Another asked damningly: "Gordon that bun is dry - where's the sauce at?" While a third simply agreed: "That looks so dry." Despite the critiques, some fans defended the 57-year-old chef's offering, with one admirer exclaiming: "Oh stop! Now I want to quit baking and switch to burgers!" Whilst another gushed: "That looks scrummy." Earlier this week, meanwhile, Gordon's Bar & Grill account shared a video of their Beef Wellington, featuring the chef himself preparing the dish.
