Some local people described both Aisling and daughter Abbigael as 'inseparable'
This is the first photo of inseparable mother and daughter, Aisling Moore, 46, and eight year-old daughter Abbigael Moore-Tournié, who were tragically killed in a road traffic collision in Co. Mayo on Tuesday.
Aisling, from nearby Swinford, was the driver of the car. The local community has been left in a state of shock. Some local people described both Aisling and daughter Abbigael as "inseparable". "The Swinford Athletic community are in shock and disbelief as we heard of the awful tragedy to hit our community. News of the fatal crash claiming the lives of Aisling and Abbigael has rocked us to the core.
"Her bubbly personality, beautiful smile and the sound of her laugh will be just some of the things we will treasure. Abbigael moved on to our junior athletics programme and only recently on the 16th of June representing Swinford Community games at the Mayo finals narrowly missing out on a medal.
