EXCLUSIVE: Michael 'Chino' Ryan (51) was stabbed a number of times following a suspected drunken row with a man known to him in the Hampton Woods Way area of Finglas, West Dublin in the early hours of Thursday morning
A man who once went on a botched E1M cash in transit robbery with slain mobster Eamon ‘The Don’ Dunne has been stabbed to death.
A man in his 30s was arrested by gardai and is still being questioned in relation to the fatal stabbing. In a tribute on social media, Ryan’s daughter said: “Daddy’s little princess forever.” Judge Tony Hunt said the men were part of an organised crime gang which represented “a significant social evil in today’s society”. He said such raids are used by gangs to finance their criminal activities.
When the van stopped at the Celbridge Shopping Centre Caffery and his Chubb Ireland colleague got out to fill an ATM. Warren approached the van with a consaw while Ryan tried and failed to open the front doors with the keys which had been procured by Alan Bradley.
