As rumours continue to swirl that Fortnite’s next chapter might see the game return to where it all began, the game’s social media accounts may have just dropped the biggest hint yet that the battle royale will indeed be returning to Chapter 1. Many of the game’s fans have noticed that the game’s official Fortnite Twitter/X account has changed an important piece of information on its profile – specifically, the date July 12, 2018 is now fairly prominently displayed.
There’s a couple of key reasons why choosing this particular season has fans’ intrigue piqued, as that Season was known as the ‘Worlds Collide season’ and saw the game’s island ‘colliding’ with other realities. It looks like it also jumped around the time stream – because now it seems it’s set to collide with the game’s 2023 map.
