The warrants were executed amid an investigation into a series of over 10 robberies in Manchester city centre between March and April 2023
The morning raids were the start of a day of action to crackdown on neighbourhood crime, according to Greater Manchester Police. The slew of warrants were carried out across Salford.
The men, aged between 18 and 19, were all from the Salford area of Greater Manchester and have been arrested on suspicion of robbery offences. The warrants were executed as part of an investigation into a series of more than 10 robberies in Manchester city centre between March and April 2023, says the force.
“We ask the public to be switched on regarding their own safety and aware of your personal security and follow GMP’s crime prevention advice which can be found on our website. I hope these arrests send a clear message that we will investigate this kind of crime thoroughly, and work to ensure those responsible for it face the consequences of their actions."Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
