But while the Irish have dominated recent Cheltenham Festivals, there is a growing feeling among the Brits that they could enjoy a resurgence this year. Constitution Hill will fly the flag in the Champion Hurdle and will attempt to regain his crown in a race he won in 2023 before having to pull out 12 months ago through injury. While Dan Skelton – who is currently the leading British trainer – also has a formidable team which includes The New Lion, Protektorat and L’Eau Du Sud.
