Micheál Sheridan recently passed away following a short battle with cancer - now a fundraiser has been launched in tribute to all he did for charities in Ireland
A fundraiser has been launched in memory of the founder of Cork's Community Air Ambulance service after he sadly passed away following a brief battle with cancer.
As well as his considerable charity efforts, including donations to ISPCC, Special Olympics Ireland, and Critical, Micheál founded the air ambulance service, the very first of its kind in the country - which has helped to save countless lives.READ MORE: European election results LIVE updates “Micheál Sheridan, the late CEO of Mercy University Hospital Foundation, fought a brief but courageous battle with cancer,” a post on GoFundMe said.
