A fundraiser has been launched to support an Irishman who was placed on life support after becoming 'critically unwell' while on holiday in Spain.
Following the medical emergency, the Kerry native was rushed to hospital where he was placed on life support on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. A message shared on the fundraising page states: "He is in a period of his recovery where he is now stable enough to be transferred. Our fear is if he deteriorates again we will never get him home.The page has raised over €41,400 so far, with the family hoping that Paul will be able to be transported back to Ireland this week.
