The electrician, who played for Teemore Shamrocks GFC, was remembered as a 'fearless competitor' and 'true Teemore man'.

The Fermanagh GAA club shared a heartbreaking tribute to Stephen on social media after the tragic news emerged as they hailed the popular young man as "a fearless competitor" who was "always willing to put his body on the line". "A fearless competitor—tough as nails and always willing to put his body on the line—Stephen was a true Teemore man who loved getting stuck in.
Many of Stephen's friends and family have also paid tribute to the talented GAA player, who has been remembered as a 'true gentleman' who 'adored his family'. Another person added: "Devastated to hear the news, such a lovely young gent, who adored his family and nana pat so much. Rest in peace little angel, reunited with your daddy now, two beautiful souls xxx"
