Galway GAA star Conor Gleeson has been praised for his incredible performance in Sunday's Connacht Championship Final.
Speaking after the match, captain Sean Kelly gave a special nod to Conor Gleeson for his on-pitch performance. "Not many know, but he had to bury someone close to him this week and to do what he did today, there was definitely someone looking down on him. So a massive roar for Conor Gleeson, who was the winning of it for us today."
"He is a very popular character in the room. He buried his grandmother on Tuesday. His grandmother passed away last weekend and they had the funeral Tuesday."
