Kyran was reported missing from his home in Drogheda, Co. Louth, to gardaí on the 30th August 2024 with a report that he had been seen two days before in the local area
Gardaí investigating the case of missing eight year old Kyran Durnin have upgraded his disappearance to a murder investigation.
RTÉ is now reporting that gardaí are following the line of inquiry that Kyran may have died up to two years before he was reported missing. “Specific information has been received that this child is dead and this, along with other enquiries, have led gardaí to upgrade it to a murder investigation.”
