The Irish Mirror has learned that prison bosses contacted gardai last week after disturbing videos circulated

Gardai are investigating after shocking videos emerged of a prisoner performing oral sex - and scalded with hot water.

In the videos he is repeatedly verbally abused by another lag who tells him “that’s what robbers get,” and labels him a “tramp b*stard.”

The convicted burglar was transferred to the CBU - a location reserved only for the most violent and unruly prisoners - as a form of punishment. There, he is subjected to 24 hour lock-up, and is being closely monitored. The victim is understood to have been offered all available support following the incident.
