The Roads Policing Unit have been out in force over recent days on the back of National Slow Down Day.
.Not only did the driver have no valid licence, they also had no insurance, no tax and no NCT - all of which are major breaches of Irish law. In a post on Twitter, officers confirmed: “Roscommon RPU conducting MIT checkpoint in Roscommon Town. The vehicle turned from the checkpoint.“Vehicle seized and Court date to follow.”
