Gary Neville commended goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher after his crucial save against Kevin De Bruyne in Liverpool's decisive win over Manchester City. The match saw Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah score, with Kelleher's performance highlighted for its significance.

Kelleher didn't have much to do, but when he was called upon he delivered, with Neville, who was commentating on the game, praising the Cork native as the Kop chanted 'Ireland's number one'."He knows how close, I'm sure that'll be doubled up at the end in the changing room. The save came just days after Kelleher stopped a Kylian Mbappe penalty as Liverpool defeated Real Madrid 2-0 in the Champions League.
