GE Healthcare is investing in a new fill-and-finish facility in Carrigtwohill, Ireland, to meet the growing global demand for contrast media used in medical imaging. The expansion will increase the Cork site's capacity by 25 million doses annually and is expected to be operational by the end of 2027.
