Council workers say they're being put at risk in CCTV blackspots as 114 of the city's 439 cameras are out of action, with cuts in the maintenance budget blamed for reduced coverage.
Glasgow City Council has been accused of failing staff after it was revealed that a quarter of CCTV cameras in the city don't work.

"Police, fire and ambulance crews would testify the invaluable support and insight of our members during the emergency response." Ms Slaven said GMB members had raised concerns that there was "neither the will nor the resource to maintain cameras and repair faults to restore the CCTV system making the city's streets safer".
