"Another really big thing in completing it last year, was that I completed it for myself, it wasn't for a charity, and it was a way to show up for myself every single day. From that, it became a test of my own resilience. It was a huge sense of achievement from setting myself this goal that was quite challenging and out of my comfort zone in a different way every day. Some days might be comfortable, others are super uncomfortable, but no matter what I was doing it for myself.
"One really special moment was when I was swimming down at the baths in Dun Laoghaire last week, and a woman was like to me 'God, you must be freezing but I'm sure you're exhilarated,' and I explained the 100 days of dips process, and that it was actually warmer than the prior day," Gráinne reflected.
