Lotto bosses have announced a special ‘guaranteed to be won’ €1 million Lotto Plus raffle event on Saturday. This weekend promises to be life-changing, with one Lotto Plus player guaranteed to become a millionaire in this Saturday’s Lotto Plus draw on December 21. The draw on Saturday night will see one Lotto Plus Raffle winner receive €1 million in addition to the usual €500 prize. Typically, the Lotto Plus Raffle has between 60 and 120 winners of €500 in each draw.
However, in the Christmas draw on December 21, one of these winners will have their prize boosted by an additional €1 million. Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in Saturday night’s draw will be entered into a once-off random draw, where one ticket will be selected to win an additional prize of €1 million. Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery said, 'The National Lottery is delighted to offer a special Lotto Plus Raffle that gives someone the chance to become a millionaire just in time for Christmas. 'Can you imagine the excitement this will bring? To enter the raffle, players must buy a Lotto ticket with the Lotto Plus option. We remind all our players that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app, or at www.lottery.ie, ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Saturday night.'
